Simon Rooks

The current Marketing Chairman is Simon Rooks, who has been Chairman since November 2007.

The Marketing Committee meets 6 times per annum, generally every 8 weeks and always in advance of the board meeting.

The Marketing Committee is on average attended by 10/12 members from a wide background including the Fire & Rescue Service, manufacturers and commercial/Industrial contractors, residential and domestic member contractors and BAFSA staff.

The committee works on many initiatives which include:

• Development of new marketing and promotional literature.
• Produce new BAFSA information files (BIF's).
• Promote the benefits of sprinklers by attending target market exhibitions.
• News editorials.
• Annual members meetings and conferences.
• Members directory.
• Wise up to fire campaign and DVD development.

The marketing meetings are held every two months throughout the UK and new members to this group would be most welcome. Contact BAFSA to find out more.
