LEGISLATION
Approved documents accompanying the Building Regulations in England and Wales make specific reference to the use of sprinklers (Regulations for Scotland and Northern Ireland differ slightly).
However, following the full implementation of the Domestic Fire Safety (Wales) Measure 2011, the Welsh Assembly now require all new homes built in Wales to be protected with sprinklers.
