BIFM Training: an Introduction to Sprinkler Systems
The British Institute of Facilities Management now offer a BAFSA endorsed one day course intended to introduce the essentials of sprinkler systems. Detailed programme and course details at:

The course is ideal for someone who is new to the industry or is working in the insurance industry or is responsible for premises which are sprinklered. The course also looks at watermist and waterspray systems and their uses and examines the use of automatic fire suppression systems as a means of complying with the Fire Safety Order, Fire (Scotland) Act and Building Regulations/Standards
The next course will be in London on 8 October 2008

BAFSA /ABE LPS 1048 - BS EN 12845 Designer Training
Dates for the next round of BAFSA/ABE Training Courses have just been announced. These are:
Basic Design Training Course – 18th, 19th and 29th September 2008 – LPCB Exam 30th September 2008.
Intermediate Design Training Course 13th and 14th October 2008 - LPCB Exam 15th October 2008
Advanced FHC Design Training Course 10th and 11th November, 25th & 26th November – LPCB Exam 9th & 10th December 2008.

The Livetap training is for installation engineers. The course is 1 day duration and is held at our purpose built training facility at our Staffordshire base.
The training is provided free of charge until the 30th November 2007. Thereafter the charge is £285.00 per person.
There is a 20% discount for B.A.F.S.A members.
