The design of a sprinkler system is paramount to a successful installation and to achieve third party accreditation designers must be able to show competency through the existing schemes by successfully completing competence reviews.
BAFSA offers training in design for the residential & domestic market and the commercial market and courses can be booked directly through BAFSA. The residential / domestic Training Course is available on line and is held over 4 days covering the full design scope of a system from Classification through to Commissioning and Maintenance. This course is approved to provide 60 Hours CPD.
Commercial systems are more involved than the residential and Domestic systems as they cover a vast range of premises from schools to Retail to Large sheds covering roof and rack protection.
