Another successful BAFSA Challenge Day was held at the stunning Mottram Hall on 15th June. In searing heat, ten teams took on eight different challenges from laser clay shooting to human sheep herding.

The most competitive of the games had to be the human table football, where Applications Engineering won a hard-fought victory against Viking. Applications Engineering also scooped the top prize in the giant Jenga, with JCI, SPP and Writech as close runners up, making them Challenge Day 2023 Champions overall.

SPP Pumps came a close second for the top prize, winning in the Quiz, the Laser Clay shoot (with best shot being awarded to Mark Firth), the rocket-building exercise and Human Sheepherding – where BAFSA’s chairman Russel Dixon also proved his worth in rounding up the troops and was awarded the special prize of BAFSA Challege Day Shepherd 2023.

Thank you to all the sponsors and for being such great sports – we look forward to seeing you again next year details and dates coming soon.
