The IQ Level 2 Certificate in Fire Sprinkler Installation (QCF) is the first ever qualification aimed at individuals employed in the fire sprinkler industry.
This qualification is intended for people new to the industry, or with minimal experience, employed in installing fire sprinklers to develop the knowledge and competences necessary to meet the industry standards for the installation role. The main objective of this qualification is to confirm occupational competence.
Delivery of the Level 2 Certificate in Fire Sprinkler Installation will commence on 15th January 2018 at the Manchester College and Neath Port Talbot College with the Llandrillo College course commencing on 12th February 2018.
This year sees the government funding awarded to the qualification for the second year. This significantly reduces the course fees.
