Amendment 1 to Clause 21, EN 12845 : – the Amendment has been passed. This was the amendment to remove the requirement for an annual third party inspection of sprinkler systems.
The amendment retains the requirement for an inspection but states that it should be done “by a qualified person” and refers to an informative annex, which in turn recommends the inspections be done by a third party. The intent remains but the third party element is now a recommendation.
