Dramatic images of flames ripping through the roof of a four storey block of flats in Wood Green, London and rising into the night sky brought fear to the local community.
About 20 people were evacuated by fire crews using breathing apparatus. Three of them were treated by paramedics at the scene.
Some 70 firefighters were at the scene, and London Fire Brigade (LFB) reported that all of the second and third floor of the building was alight, as well as part of the roof.
Fortunately there no fatalities however, without an automatic sprinkler systems to suppress the fire and safeguard the residents  many homes were destroyed or damaged… MORE
