Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service (NFRS) were called out to a fire in the laundry room of a three-storey Care Home in Wellingborough. An industrial tumble dryer had caught fire in the premises laundry room located on the ground floor. The fire was contained to the room of origin by the residential sprinkler system which actuated suppressing the fire before the arrival of NFRS.
